More About Our Story

How It All Started

I began my grooming career straight out of high school while working alongside my parents in their pet store. The store had a grooming salon, and I started as the bath and blow-dry girl.

I loved working with the dogs and building a connection with each one. Seeing a dog go from dirty and uncomfortable to clean, comfortable and looking their best gave me a sense of pride in my work.

Finding My Way Back

Life took me away from grooming for a few years while I got married and raised my children. Once my children reached school age, I returned to the grooming table and quickly remembered how much I loved the work.

Coming back confirmed that grooming was where I belonged. I began rebuilding my career and developing the loyal client base I have today.

A Business Built on Trust

Consistency matters to both dogs and their owners. Staying committed to my clients, my services and my location has helped me form lasting relationships with the families I serve.

Many of the dogs I groom become familiar faces. Watching them grow and change over the years is one of the best parts of my job.

Always Learning

There is always something new to learn in professional grooming. I regularly attend seminars and educational events where I learn from experienced groomers and other industry professionals.

I have also competed in grooming competitions, which pushed me to improve my technique, attention to detail and finishing skills. I am now close to completing my Certified Master Groomer title, a goal I have worked hard toward.

A Love for Poodles and Breed Grooming

I have a strong interest in breed-standard trims and hope to become more involved in dog shows. I enjoy the precision and skill required to present each breed correctly, especially when working with Poodles.

This part of grooming keeps me learning and gives me new goals to work toward.

Life With My Dogs

Dogs are a big part of my life outside the salon too. I spend much of my free time training and taking part in activities with my Poodles.

We participate in agility, dock diving, obedience and manners training. These activities have helped me better understand canine behaviour, communication and the importance of building confidence.

A Calm and Confident Approach

Dogs often respond to the emotions and body language of the person handling them. I approach every appointment with patience, calmness and confidence so each dog feels safe in my care.

Every dog has their own personality, history and comfort level. I adjust my approach based on what each dog needs and take the time to build trust throughout the grooming process.

More Than a Haircut

Grooming is about more than appearance. It takes patience, technical skill, problem-solving and an understanding of each dog’s individual needs.

I am grateful to spend my career working with dogs and the people who love them. My goal is to keep learning and provide every dog with respectful care and quality grooming.
